July Special Events at The Hollows ![]() Aerobic Hike. Meet at the Beach Club for a guided hike through our trail system. Capture the Flag at the event lawn. Chef Stacey’s Weekend Special. Friday through Sunday Chef Stacey will feature a unique, savory dish at the Beach Club Grill. Dive-in-Movie at the Beach Club. Family Fishing at the Marina. Meet at the Beach Club and then head to the Marina for an afternoon of fishing. Bring your own tackle or borrow from us. If you prefer live bait, please bring your own. Hollows Bingo at the Beach Club Smokehouse, come and win some fun prizes! The Hollows Watermelon Eating Contest. The All-American chow down competition comes to The Hollows this 4th of July. Test your speed and will against other watermelon enthusiasts to become The Hollows watermelon eating champion!!!!! Hotdog Roast. At the Beach Club Smoke House. Includes a “you roast it” hotdog, chips and lemonade. $5 per plate. Ice Cream Floats at the Beach Club Smokehouse. Independence Games at the event lawn. Compete against other families in fun 4th of July games such as potato sack races, relay races, three legged races and much more!!!! Jumbo Soccer at the event lawn. This zany game of soccer is played with a jumbo oversized soccer ball!!! Kids Crafts at the Beach Club Smokehouse. Kickball at the events lawn. Mountain Biking on the Trails. Bring your own mountain bike and helmet and meet at the North Fork Tram at the Bluffs for an off-road bike ride through our trail system. Pictionary at the Beach Club Smokehouse. Bring a team or teammate and challenge other teams to be the weeks Pictionary champion. Pirates of Lake Travis Party at the Beach Club Smoke House. Ahoy matey!!!!! When ye sea-rovers find yer way off the open waters of Lake Travis, make way to the Beach Club for some pirate games and pirate fun, followed by a pirate themed Dive-in-Movie!!!!! Pool Bingo at the Beach Club. Pool Games at the Beach Club. Kids can enjoy games such as Pool Bingo and Sharks and Minnows led by The Hollows Activities Staff. Poolside Music at the Beach Club. Sand Volleyball at the sand volleyball courts. S’mores. Come and enjoy this Hollows favorite at the Beach Club Smokehouse. Tour de Travis. Meet at the Beach Club to get your supplies, then head to Long Hollow Kayak Dock for a guided kayak trip on Lake Travis. Remember, kayaks rentals are on a first come first serve basis. Ultimate Frisbee. Meet at the event lawn to learn the rules, practice some new throws and play a game. Water Aerobics at the Beach Club. All ages welcome for this fun and refreshing exercise class.
